Mooring Rental Agreement

Please complete the above information, read and understand information below. Select mooring size and sign below.

1. This mooring rental reservation form must be signed and filled out by owner.
2. An invoice will be generated from info above or info from previous season if no changes are made.
3. Mooring rental season is 4/15 to 11/15.
4. Any mooring that needs to be in by 4/1 must be reserved and paid in full by 2/15.
5. This mooring is for above named mooring customer and vessel and is not transferable.
6. It is expressly understood and agreed that in the event the boat, its contents and/ or equipment are lost or damaged, Volpi Marine shall not be liable to the owner for such loss or damage unless such loss or damage results from direct, active and gross negligence of Volpi Marine, its agents or employees.
7. Any use of the mooring by the owner is deemed to be acceptance of the mooring location.
8. The owner hereby authorizes Volpi Marine to take such steps as in the exclusive opinion of Volpi Marine deems necessary to protect any boat on the moorings or on the docks that Volpi Marine may see in danger, and agrees to pay Volpi Marine for any labor and materials supplied in such instances. Nothing herein shall be construed to impose upon Volpi Marine, any liability or duty not otherwise imposed upon it by the other terms of this agreement.
9. Any unauthorized use of this mooring including, but not limited to, non-payment of bills, shall result in hauling and storage at the owner’s expense.
10. Boat owner is responsible for getting necessary permits.
11. Balance due in full prior to setting any mooring.

Customer Responsibilities:

1. Make sure chafe gear is properly secured in place.
2. Pick up buoy must be placed on boat. Do not leave pick up buoy in the water it is the leading cause of pennant lines wrapping and breaking.
3. Contact Volpi Marine if mooring buoy looks low in the water or if its sinking.
4. Contact Volpi Marine if the pennant lines are wrapped underneath the mooring buoy.
5. Contact Volpi Marine when you vacate the mooring at seasons end.

Mooring packages above come with (2) appropriate size pennants and a 6’ pick up buoy or a tall PVC style buoy for transient moorings.
Larger pick up stick available for additional cost.
